Death Of Information Marketing?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

As marketers, in 2006 and 2007 we saw several "Death of" reports;

First out was Scott Boulch in November 2006 with "The Death Of Adsense."

Scott wrote that within a few days, he had built a list of over 38,000 subscribers.

I don't  know how many subscriptions to his software "thelistvirus" he was able to

get - probably a lot of them.  It was a smart tactic that worked  like money in the bank,

Just a short week or so after, we heard from Mike Filsaime with his

"The Death of Internet Marketing".  He gave away his list building software

and built a list of over 50,000 people. He wrote that in just over 24 hours,

they had over 34,346 people create an account to get the report.

(and he thanked Keith Baxter and Scott Boulch in the email he sent

out to his list for their marketing campaign for Their Death of AdSense

report, inspired him on how to market his own report.  The marketing

method was to pay for the referrals - so as a marketer using this traffic tactic

- it required money to make the money).

Next in line were a series of separate articles and pre-sales pages:

"The Death of Email Marketing", "The Death of Adwords for Affiliates",

"The Death of the Search Engine Spammer", and many spin offs of that theme.

Rich Schrefren also came out with a very popular series of reports last year

along the same lines.

Then Simon Leung came out with his "The Death Of Google Adwords" report as a

pre-launch to his adwords products.  I never heard how the campaign went.

Just the other day or so ago, I received another "Death of" report.

The first thought in my mind was "Oh No!  Not another 'Death of' report!".

I had to find out if it was the same kind of information in the report.

The title is "The Death of Information Marketing As We Know It"

Dan Lok writes that he spent close to three months working on his

"Death of" report, which is slightly over 40 pages.

http://www.deathofinformationmarketing.com

In it he claims to reveal exactly what's going on in the

high-powered world of info marketing.

He writes that the manuscript is the result of behind-closed-doors

conversations with a mastermind group he is a part of.

(It's a group where you have to be making at least 7

figures a year to belong to.)

He says there will be no pitches. No affiliate links. No product

launches. There should be some product or service trailing behind;

this is the way it works in the world of marketing.

Anyway, I read the report and I agree that there is a lot of

actionable information in it that one could put into

immediate use for your business, so give it a read if you

haven't already downloaded the report.

John Reese Publishes Report on Future of Internet Marketing

Hi,

John Reese just sent an email with a report on the future of Internet Marketing.  I admire his work and think you should listen to every single word he has to say.  He's brilliant!

It's a confirmation of what I have felt for a long time.  I planned on video marketing for some time now (and even have video templates for it) and will now focus on creating sales messages instead of sales pages.  Selling with video will be like TV on websites, telling stories and sharing information instead of hard-selling — I like this and it fits what I'm already doing, but I needed to find a way to market it properly.

The Internet will be "TV on steroids", on millions, if not billions, of websites!!!

Here's the link to his blog:

http://www.income.com/images/reports/rebirth.pdf

Just follow directions to download the 53 page report for free.  He also gives an update on his forthcoming INCOME.COM.

Great stuff!!

A Goldmine At Armand Morin's Internet Marketing Explained

I've been taking a look at some of the free material being given out by some of the biggest and most successful marketers online at this time. Some weeks ago, Arman Morin, who has reportedly sold products and services over the Internet during the past ten years or so for over $43,000,000 (USD), and is the founder of Big Seminar and mentor of many of the most successful and serious marketers online, started sharing lots of videos on his blog.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see just how much value this marketer is willing to give away in his launch build-up over the past few weeks.  He now has 10 instructional videos and a downloadable .pdf file available at http://internetmarketingexplained.com/blog.

In his report, he dispells many myths that are prevalent concerning online marketing and shows in his videos exactly what he is talking about.

So what's so special about his giveaways?  Almost any marketer worthy of the name is giving away things to build-up trust and relationships before launching the product that the giveaways are related to, but here is where the comparison stops.

His videos are very informative and actually tell some of the "secrets" that many marketers have sold in courses and in PAID memberships.  I kid you not!  One example is in the video called massive traffic where he reveals things that I paid for in no less than TWO COURSES on Adwords and PPC marketing.

Head on over there right away and watch that video.  In fact, watch them all!

http://internetmarketingexplained.com/blog/massive-traffic/

On other videos, he reveals virtually EVERYTHING you need to know about how to create products and sell them.  These are the kinds of videos I would have available on my site for my readers!

As I mentioned before, there are no less than 10 videos available there to watch - they are not downloadable.

Thank you, Armand Morin, for showing us how to give real value and for sharing all of this.  Even those who can't afford to purchase any of his courses will benefit greatly from the information available for a limited time on his blog:

Scott Boulch Offers A Cure To "The Internet Marketing Virus"

I just read through this report and feel that it is a good read and was worth my time.  Truth is always subjective, but when the numbers don't lie, then there is something universal about it as well.

Take your time to download it and read through it.  You might be glad you did.
