Sometimes We Push Too Hard…

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A friend of mine seemed to be on the fence concerning the purchase of the Rich Jerk software through Mr. X.'s link.  This would have given him both RichJerk software and The Blackbook Dvds. The value in the Rich Jerk package was in the protege program.  I gave him X's affiliate link so that he would get both.  But he seemed to need some pushing - I thought he didn't know what he wanted and I kept pressing him to buy through X because it was such a great deal.  I never even gave him my affiliate link.  He kept saying that he would purchase through my link.  Here it is now:

www.1shoppingcart.com/SYS/?m=95295&c=1

Sometimes, when we want to help our friends and associates, we just push too hard.  I had meant to inform and educate, but maybe he thought I was hard-selling - I don't know.  I was selling him on doing something for his own good, but only he could be the judge of that.  I wasn't making a dime. I just know in this game of Internet Marketing, the rich keep getting richer and the rest are getting shafted.  And  while The Adwords Black Book focused on tactics for spanking the competition - the Black Book DVDs focus more on strategies for diverting THEIR customers to become YOUR customers - while THEY pay you to do it.  The Blackbook Dvds tell you how.

www.1shoppingcart.com/SYS/?m=95295&c=1

Can't afford the BlackBook Dvd's?  I'll give you $100 back in cash after the refund period is over, but I don't think I've ever heard of anybody asking for a refund for X's products.  And because I want to make sure you use them, I'll work with you on a strategy and process maps based on your goals for your product, project or business so you are doing the right things to get where you realistically want to go.

Now that the RichJerk's package is sold out, there is another one that I wanted my friend to look at, and if you are selling anything online, you need to know about this too.   This product goes much further than the RichJerk product did:  it actually finds OTHER affiliate's profitable adwords campaigns, saving you the time and expense of testing keywords and products to see if they are profitable or not - you will know that from the start.  There is even a comparison between the RichJerk product and this one. Mind you, the value in having tools and technology of any kind is in knowing how to use them and taking action.

Watch this video:  I'd love to hear what you think, and if you have any questions about it.

Mind-Blowing Traffic Stats - "Work Smarter, Not Harder"

Hello All,

There is a part of me that doesn't want to spread this information; that wants to keep it to myself and apply it.  The part of me that still believes in lack and that there isn't enough money/traffic/success for everyone.

But the people behind the video you are about to watch seems to have fully embraced the concept of limitless riches/traffic/money.  They have been earning from ONE WEBSITE $5,000,000 PER MONTH!  That's no typo!

Their Traffic Law #1 is IGNORE THE SEARCH ENGINES!!!  But how?  Carlos says:  "Work Smarter, Not Harder"

This video and their stats completely blows my mind.  This is a paradigm shift in thinking for me, for what is possible, for how much easier I could have been working in the past, and how I will adapt my business in the future.

http://traffictacticsrevealed001.com/traffic.asp?affid=612220

I think this couple is really cute, too.  They look like a normal happy couple and are so normal and unassuming, I would never guess they were making a ton of money and have been doing so for years.

They demonstrate exactly how to stretch the possibilities.  Just when you think that there is nothing new, that all the methods of making money are all used up, Carlos and Lupe Garcia come and show us that there is still hope and very tangible ways to succeed by working smart and not hard.

New Interesting Launch of Adwords Product by TheRichJerk

TheRichJerk is launching a new product tomorrow called XRay Domination.  It's an interesting product with a staged launch where the narrator, "Ryan", exposes the RichJerk's keywords in his Adwords campaigns.  There was a series of videos, building up suspense and I thought it was a fun launch.

Some people are offended by the Rich Jerk and his language and the way he talks about women.  I know that some people might find this in bad taste, but I am just amused when I read his emails and the copy on his website.  It's like watching a stand-up comedian, or even listening to hard rock music with insulting lyrics, or even the country western music with lyrics that somehow say hurtful things but have a bit of truth in them.  I usually laugh outloud when I read his stuff.  I just don't take it seriously. There's something releasing about it - the way I see it - laughing is always good, and his marketing info is amongst the best on the market.

Last week, Rich Jerk launched his new Rich Jerk Evolution website in very close proximity to the X-ray Domination launch, which is tomorrow.

In fact, I saw at least a couple of marketers who got their promotions mixed up about this. They actually confused the two launches. They thought they were promoting X-ray Domination, but the link was for Rich Jerk Evolution (or vice versa), which is a totally different thing.

Rich Jerk Evolution (aka Rich Jerk 2.0) is basically the new evolution of the original Rich Jerk ebook, formatted as a membership site with various types of content. It costs $29 a month if you pay for the entire year, $59 quarterly, and $99 on a monthly basis.  But being a member of Rich Jerk Evolution will give you the chance to purchase X-ray Domination a full hour before everyone else. And since they’re limiting it to 500 licenses, it could be a big factor. I have no idea how quickly it will sell out (I don’t even know the price yet), but I figured I’d at least let you know.  I hope I can afford it!

There are about 5 major launches going on right now and so there is a lot of noise on the marketplace and it feels hard to distinguish between all of the claims made for the various products.

The X-ray Domination product itself is launching tomorrow on March 20th at Noon eastern.

Contribution to Rich Schefren's Video Contest

I mentioned a while  back that I accepted the challenge to create my first video without having a camera or any special tools.  I created a video and submitted it to Rich Schefren's video contest.  It was accepted and I'm in the running.  We received 36 hours to create and upload a video.

First of all, I had a concept ready in my mind to use Roberta Flack's "Feel Like Making Love" and have asked my son to help me create a new version but there just wasn't enough time.  I also worked on a manuscript that  I planned on speaking over the actual video.  The results were a lot different than I had envisioned.  Since I still haven't learned how to put a video on my site I am including a link to it here: http://www.strategicprofits.com/66-seconds-compelling/angela-wickenberg/

I had just signed up for Traffic Geyser and used the tips given in the bonus book I mentioned in the blogpost on the $47 free book.  It took  about 6-7 hours just to look through some of the free photos available on the Net and about 4 hours looking for a way to publish the music that I had decided on.  Since I couldn't figure out how to use the music I actually first decided on, I took a few more hours looking for music included in Traffic Geyser.

I downloaded some software recommended in the ebook I mentioned above and just 6 hours before the deadline I was learning how to use this new software.  Just a few hours left until the deadline and I was finally getting somewhere.  When I completed the slideshow video (Yeahhhhh!) I had to learn how to upload.  I had to create accounts for what seemed like an endless amount of sites through Traffic Geyser, but the rules for the Attention Age contest was that the video be uploaded through YouTubeMogul.com, which only required six accounts - easy enough.  After a few more glitches and four more hours in the middle of the night here in Sweden, I was finally finished uploading and could go to bed at 5 AM.

So here's the video and my interpretation of the Attention Age Doctrine, part 2. http://www.strategicprofits.com/66-seconds-compelling/angela-wickenberg/

The Death of Adwords?

Hi,

I've been so busy transfering my house to the new owners and moving that I haven't had time to work!  You can read about the move and other thoughts and daily things at http://angelawickenberg.com.

I'll also write about my upcoming firesale in this blog very soon.  The firesale will be at http://startingoversale.com and will offer a more than fantastic deal.  Watch for this in the coming days.  Also coming very soon is the re-launch of http://e-bizsecretsexposed.com as a membership site.  *Lots of great news to come in the coming weeks.

One report that I did give time to reading was by a former Google Adwords administrator, Simon Leung, who claims that Adwords will soon be dead!

paydotcom.com/r/25065/Gaiaangel/2223061/

I read through the report, which I had to pay $2 for.  There are a lot of credible testimonials on the page and the report is a precurser to an ebook that presents solutions to the problems, a classic marketing tactic.  I found the report worthwhile and paid the $2 because I know that Simon really was an employee of Google's so I wanted to read what he had to say. The ebook lays claims to being able to save your business from a slow and painful death.  Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, then you are well-aquainted with the many changes that have come about in adwords.  Some months ago - nearly a year - many businesses went completely under due to these changes.  Many of the businesses were legitimate, but many weren't and were abusing the Adwords system.  Even though many of the strategies used for Adwords became obsolete after the infamous "Google Slap", several marketers have continued to profit by selling out-dated ebooks and courses on the subject.  Some marketers simply weren't aware of the harm they were doing, but perhaps some just didn't care whether the information was up-to-date or not.  Some marketers sell information on heresay, not having tested anything that they sell.  This is prevalent in affiliate marketing circles - marketers take a product that is selling and without testing it at all just push it to make as much money as possible.

So in this sense it might be a wise decision to read Simon's report and purchase his book.  He is a very reputable source of information for Adwords strategies and tactics.  Here's the link again:

Pause: The Most Important Word In The Dictionary

Taking a pause.  What would life be like if we never took one?

Maddening I would say.

I had a deepened realization of this as I was Twittering this morning at twitter.com/ebizmom.  I had been feeling disoriented for the past few weeks, but especially after some minor day surgery a week ago.

"Feels like I lost footing and can't remember what I was doing"and I wrote that  "Sometimes, it's important to just breathe deeply and relax when things are cloudy and even a little 'out of order'. Letting the dust settle", and  "The most important symbol in music is the PAUSE, and pausing when speaking is THE most powerful strategy to use. And so it is with life."

As I ate my mid-morning snack, I couldn't stop thinking about the Pause and it's importance in our lives, even for all life, and how we unconsciously use the pause every day.   We would go insane without taking a pause every now and then, so in this sense, the Pause is the most important word in the dictionary, and the most important thing, the one thing we all need to learn how to purposely use in our lives. Even in software development, a breakpoint is an intentional stopping or pausing place in a program, put in place for debugging purposes, according to Wikipedia.

In my humble opinion, the Pause can be used to attain fantastic goals, like Peace of Mind, Love, Friendship, and Financial Freedom.

We take pauses every day.  But a lot of the pauses that we take are unconscious; they have become automatic.

We need to learn to take conscious pauses when we breathe, eat, play and work.

A great speaker takes pauses in strategic places to emphasize a point, and so do the greatest of salespersons.

The music that moves us the most uses pauses very effectively.

It's called Fermata.  This word is very similar to ferment: to stir up or seethe with excitment.

We become more exciting and build expectation when we take a pause, even though the taking of the pause itself is relaxing.

We need to rest. Give ourselves a chance to release the past and heal. To become whole.

In poetry it's called Prosody; the study of poetic metre and the art of versification.

Without the Pause, there is no Beauty. There is no Music. There is no poetry.

Prosody is also the patterns of stress and intonation in a language.

To take a pause means to take a short break; a temporary stop.

Taking a pause lets the dust settle, but it also helps build momentum and excitement.

Taking a few deep breathes clears my muddled thoughts and helps me focus better.

In this sense, the Pause is meditation.

To stop.  To reflect. To consider. To remember what's important.

To breathe.

It only takes a few moments. Just a few breathes, and we can change our lives.

Go in a new direction. Or decide to continue on a chosen path with new-found direction and purpose.

So, take a conscious Pause, and breathe.

Angela Wickenberg

Friend has been abused, 4 kids, needs help. Can you?

Hello Friends,

I was searching for a graphics designer for my site and found one yesterday evening.  When I finally checked my email late last night, I saw an email from Michel Fortin, the famous copywriter.  His subject line was a heart-stopper:  "To Stop Her From Going Online, He Broke Her Hands"!

He wrote about this woman, whose name I will not write in this post, who is one of his web designers who formats his copy.

He writes that she's designed many web pages for him and formatted his copy
for his clients, and some of his own. And she has a knack for
designing response-driven web pages. She's a hard worker and
a person he admires and supports.  He goes on to tell the story:

Here's the rest of the email:

Right now, she's in dire need — she's fleeing an abusive
relationship and is currently without a home, alone with her
four kids, with apparently only the clothes on their back.

We're not asking for charity, but to help her out in a
different way. My friend Jason Moffatt made a blog post and
recorded a video explaining the situation:

http://www.jasonmoffatt.com/dir/239

There's also a thread on my Copywriters Discussion Board
about it, if you want to know more:

http://www.copywritersboard.com/off-topic-discussion/6086-one-our-copywritersboard-sisters-needs-help.html

I don't ask for help often.

But when I do, it's because it means something important to
me personally. Whether it's breast cancer or abuse, and if
you know my story, then you know these issues touch me VERY
deeply and I want to do whatever I can to help.

Won't you help? Thanks in advance.

Here's the link again:

http://www.jasonmoffatt.com/dir/239

That was the email from Michel Fortin.
*****

Then I saw an email early this morning from the graphic designer that I just found last night!

"This is going to be a little long (as usual) and a bit emotional.
There are things in life that happen to people, bad things.
I've been there. I'm sure you have too.  While I was in one of my
favorite forums today, I ran across a post that sickened and angered
me.  I'm no stranger to seeing abuse, and I do my best to stop it
when I see it.  Or I do what I can to help where it's called for.
I'm not one to send these kind of emails, but this one is true, real,
and I actually know this person.

This nice woman is a fellow moderator in a forum that I also moderate.
She has been badly abused, and finally scooped up her kids and ran.
This wonderful lady actually had her hands broke by this sick
dog of a man, so she couldn't get on the internet to do her work.
Among other things.

I can't tell you how mad that makes me.

If YOU or someone in YOUR family is being abused, you speak up to
someone.  Or speak up FOR someone, and you get out. NOW. Not next
week, not a month from now… as soon as you can sneak out - you go.

Or help another get out.  Please, no matter how hard you think
it might be just go.  Someone will appear to help you.  Do this
for you own sake or for the sake of another victim.  Especially where
children are subject to see, or suffer from abuse.

If you can find it in your heart to
help this single mom, and her 4 kids - any small donation will help.

$5.00 bucks will buy two happy meals for two of the kids, think of
it that way.

There has been a major driving force of fellow internet workers who
have donated enough to get her out - and I mean out of the
State she was living in.  Combined efforts have accomplished getting
her away from her tormentor - and she is now as safe as she can be
for now.

But it's not over yet.

It's almost school time, so the kids will need to get clothes and
supplies.  They took off with just the stuff they could carry.
They will need to get a roof over their heads, and have
enough money for other things like beds, cooking supplies etc.
until she can get back on her feet.

No, this is not a scam - the money will go directly to this woman, and I'm
going to give you the links you can use right now.

http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?8_9QLAN_8SOw1DV0.gUTaA is the link that a man named
Jason put up to help this woman.  Yes, I know, he's a bit freaky - but his
heart is good.  You can buy her product that she has worked hard on
from that page as a donation.

Or you can donate even 5 bucks through paypal by using her paypal
address, which is (removed to protect her identity).

Nobody is taking the money for her, it goes directly to her.

I just caught the thread today at:
http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?dv.lbHtcx1qST8_t0Y0ENw
so I've been scrambling myself to get a few bucks together to give.
(account was a bit dry) :-)

This is a hard working stay-at-home mom of 4, I know her, she's not
a scammer, and she really does need help.

If you don't have any money, please send a prayer and best wishes.

AND - if you or someone you know is being abused… get help, get
out, help out if you can, you get the picture.  No relationship is
worth getting beat, verbally downgraded, emotionally abused or
anything else.  If you live in fear, it's time to reevaluate your
situation.  Do that for yourself, or help another if you see abuse
happening.  Don't stand by and watch while someone is hurt.

Thanks!

This information comes from three different sources who I believe would not try to earn a fast buck in this way.  I have done what I could.  Can you do something too?  I was just reading on the Forum Michel Fortin mentioned in his email and the whole time I was wondering  why the big marketers who are making so much money can't just purchase her services in a big way, or just give a big donation?  I am glad I heard the story but it must be terrible for this woman to have this story told with her name written all over the place, which is why I removed her name.  I read in the forum that the product she created is a "no-brainer".  So that might be the best route - you guys with the big lists can do this abused woman and four children a big favor - all show all the rest of us that it's not all hot air.

Best regards,

Angela Wickenberg
